My name is April Cavallo, native of Louisiana, I now call Kingwood Texas home. I love the trails, schools, and easy access to the big city that Kingwood provides. What called me to coaching was a strong desire to empower. I first became a running coach after experiencing what running did for my body, but even more for my mind. All of a sudden I felt powerful, able, and strong! I found myself wanting to share that feeling with others. I came to Yoga for the physical benefits also, and in turn learned a new lifestyle and philosophy that changed my relationships, my outlook, and my capacity for gratitude. Where running made me feel like a warrior, Yoga made me feel like a fountain of compassion. When I found Health Coaching, it was the ultimate combination of both and I felt like I was home. Helping people has always been my biggest motivator, but with coaching I was helping people to help themselves! Being present with clients as they bravely face their own personal demons and take control in an area they have struggled with is exhilarating. Watching clients engineer habits and mindsets from a place of love and not punishment is worth waking up for. I learn more every day and that is what I love most about this work. I can't wait to hear your story and get to witness what you want to create!
